How it works

A Living Filter ® …

… consists of plants, soil and water. The air passes through the plants and the trapped particles. The particles showered off and fall into the soil to absorb and break down pollutants.
… humidifying the dry and warm indoor air to a comfortable level and temperature. It reduces irritation of mucous membranes and makes them less susceptible to airborne infections.
… saves energy by it purifies and oxygenates the air indoors without having to bring in outside air that must be heated up or cooled down and carted around the house.
… is beautiful to look at, with its lush vegetation and natural light.
… working for a healthy indoor air quality around the clock. It works quietly, discreetly and efficiently. Simple oversight every eight weeks is enough – a Living Filter ® survive almost entirely himself.

Airborne pollutants
In our indoor environment we are exposed constantly to various forms of airborne contaminants. Many of these contaminants are bound to particles traveling through space in various ways. Larger particles follow the air streams, the smallest affected by their electrical charge and electric fields.

Many of the very small particles normally trapped in the larger, so that we can separate them in the nose and upper airways using our moist mucous membranes. But when the larger particles get stuck in a ventilation filters and dryers, then released the small particles and ejected in the supply air again with the result that we have an air that the body is not biologically equipped to clean.

Living Filter ® is a rain forest in miniature. Microclimate helps eliminate most of the larger particles before they have time to dry and let go of the small particles. The result is a cleaner, more comfortable and healthier indoor environment.
